About ~ TONY
TONY BROWN.....LEAD SINGER WITH 'LAST GANG IN TOWN'.

I was brought up in the 60's in a quiet mining village with a great community spirit which has now been sadly long forgotten, a sign of the times.
A single parent family, I never knew my father (Cunt) ... we had 'fuck all' but we just got on with it.
Left school at 15, worked in a tailoring factory and my first wage was £7.25, my mother took £5.00 off me for 'board' and I still thought I was rich...
Got into music around 1971 and bought my first guitar for £30 on hire-purchase, a 'CSL 335' copy which I still have...even though I now own 14 guitars.
I Just used to 'jam' away, I never thought you could you could be in a band, I thought it was a job. It wasn't until 1980 that I got into bands 'what was I thinking' . Even though Punk was and is the music energy I like we never played it, mainly pop or rock...anything we could work out.
It wasn't until 6 or 7 bands down the line that I started playing the music I enjoyed most. But not many people around my area were playing it and it was difficult to find a singer so I though I'd have a go. I realised that I could shout in tune (I don't class myself as a singer) and people seemed to enjoy it, so until they stop enjoying it...I'll carry on.
At this point I had 2 bands 'stolen' from me...the gutless bastards (not name of band) ... I didn't realise it at the time but they did me a fucking BIG favour because otherwise I wouldn't have met and joined LAST GANG IN TOWN. Lads as likeminded as me...plus we blow those other bands clean off the planet. It's a 200 mile round trip for me just to rehearse but I enjoy every mile /minute of it.
It's great to be working with Gaz, Mark and Stez...we are the LAST GANG IN TOWN.....
